Through my experiences working with patients from many walks of life, I have witnessed how transformative the confidential, non-judgmental space of therapy can be for healing painful emotions and navigating life’s ups and downs. I understand how difficult it can be to open up about your personal details and life experiences, and to trust that someone will hear you with compassion and understanding. That is precisely my aim as a clinical psychologist: to ensure that you feel heard, respected, and supported as we work toward your therapy goals together.
I provide individual tele-therapy for women and all individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, and self-esteem issues.
In addition, I specialize in the following areas:
Pregnancy and postpartum concerns
Becoming a parent involves a profound transition, and I understand the emotional complexities that come with it, from pregnancy through the early months of parenthood. The perinatal phase is characterized by hormone fluctuations, changes in your body and emotions, and new routines and responsibilities, leading many new moms and parents to experience stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. In addition, many new parents encounter a narrative of how new parenthood “should be,” which can lead to isolation and guilt if they find themselves struggling. I am committed to working alongside you as you navigate these challenges, and provide support and compassion as you adjust to your new role.
Fertility Challenges
People having difficulty conceiving or carrying a pregnancy to term, often experience painful feelings of grief, anxiety, sadness, and confusion. If you are going through fertility challenges or the fertility treatment process, it can be an isolating and stressful journey. But you are not alone, and you do not have to go through it alone. Research estimates that nearly 1 in 6 adults worldwide experience fertility challenges (World Health Organization, 2023). I provide a supportive space to help individuals navigating fertility challenges process complex emotions, manage stress and uncertainty, and promote overall well-being surrounding this experience. In addition, I offer space to talk through fertility treatment options and your decision-making process.
Birth-related trauma and loss
In the process of building a family, women and all individuals can go through upsetting or stressful events. It is normal to feel shock, grief, or confusion if your birth experience did not align with your expectations. Having a compassionate space to share your birth story and process trauma can instill a sense of safety and support as you navigate new parenthood.
In addition, women who have experienced a miscarriage or pregnancy loss may feel immense grief, loss, and other painful emotions. These can be difficult experiences to talk about with loved ones, as we may worry that others won’t understand what we are going through. I am here to provide support for any individuals who have experienced these painful events.
Body image and eating concerns
Disordered eating and body image difficulties impact people of all ages and genders at an ever-increasing rate, and cause disruptions to one’s health, relationships, daily functioning, and overall emotional well-being. People may experience symptoms like dietary restriction, fear of gaining weight, purging behaviors, binge eating, shame or anxiety about their body, or avoidance of looking at their image in a mirror or photo. For anyone living with eating and body image concerns, I understand how painful and isolating it can be. As a psychologist I strive to help women and all individuals reduce these upsetting symptoms, build an empowered relationship with their body, and learn to embrace themselves exactly as they are.

Pelvic pain, endometriosis, and other women’s health conditions
Women can experience a range of difficulties surrounding their reproductive health and well-being, which can impact their daily lives and cause physical discomfort. Managing conditions like endometriosis and pelvic pain can be stressful, frustrating, and anxiety provoking. My goal is to provide a compassionate, validating space to process the emotional toll of these conditions, while working together to develop coping strategies to manage emotional and physical discomfort. I commonly use mindfulness and stress management techniques to help you improve your quality of life and relationship with your body.

Termination of a pregnancy
For women who have decided to terminate a pregnancy, the experience can be associated with a range of complex emotions, such as grief, sadness, relief, confusion, or guilt. Moreover, women can feel hesitant to discuss these feelings with loved ones, due to fear of being judged. Whatever the circumstances were surrounding your decision to terminate a pregnancy, I am here to offer support, compassion, and understanding, in a non-judgmental therapy space.
